Job description

We are seeking qualified Science tutors for one-to-one tuition supporting EOTAS students in the Vale of Glamorgan. Successful candidates must possess a PGCE or PCET qualification and be able to teach up to GCSE level Science.

The role involves working with pupils who are not attending mainstream education, some of whom may have Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. Experience in supporting students with these needs and pastoral care within education is preferred.

The position is part of the Engagement, Wellbeing and Attainment team, primarily supporting pupils at home or in Learning Centres. It is a hybrid role with some teaching, guidance, and support responsibilities.

This role is 3 days per week, with potential to increase hours or transition to full-time supply work in schools on non-teaching days. Access to transport is essential for traveling to pupils' homes and learning centres.
