Overview

Are you a passionate Science educator who enjoys nurturing curiosity and confidence in young learners? We're looking for a dedicated Science iGCSE Tutor to support a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 10 student in Corsham.

Location: Corsham
Subject: Science (iGCSE level - Double Science Award)
Hours: 6 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Part-time, flexible schedule

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work one-on-one with a young person who has an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and a deep passion for science. They are an aspiring scientist with a keen interest across all areas of the subject and are genuinely excited to begin this tuition journey.

You''ll play a key role in helping them build confidence, deepen their understanding, and prepare for their iGCSEs in a way that suits their learning style.

Responsibilities

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
