GCSE Science tutors are needed to support young learners in Bexley. Fleet Education Services provides high-quality one-to-one and small group education programs for schools and local authorities, supporting learners both in and out of school. Our aim is to ensure every learner thrives through impactful, quality-assured tuition delivered by dedicated tutors.

What We Are Looking For

We seek engaging teachers or tutors experienced in supporting Science at GCSE level, who enjoy working with learners in their homes or schools on a 1:1 or small group basis. Our learners may have complex learning needs, including SEN such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, SEMH needs, or childhood trauma. Your role will be to make a meaningful difference in their academic journey, improving their confidence and subject knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition programs.
• Utilize our virtual learning platform to report on attendance, attainment, and engagement.
• Coordinate with schools, local authorities, and stakeholders to support learners.
• Complete required training and adhere to safeguarding principles.

Minimum Requirements

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent qualification, or a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.
• At least 6 months of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience working with secondary-level pupils and SEN, SEMH learners.
• In-depth knowledge of the national Science curriculum.
• Commitment to safeguarding and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and references.
