Job Title: Science & Technology Researchers, Engineers & Managers
Location: Bristol
Salary: Circa £55,000 (depending on experience)
Working: Hybrid – 3 to 4 days per week on-site

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and development in emerging technologies including RF systems, lasers, and stealth technologies.

Design and evaluate systems using tools such as CST, Comsol, Matlab, and Spice.

Lead or contribute to technical project delivery, from concept through to validation and testing.

Work across disciplines on future systems, balancing experimentation and design innovation.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop bespoke technical solutions for national defence applications.

Engage in modelling, simulation, and testing of complex electromagnetic and optical systems.

Experience

Experience in one or more of the following: Radio Frequency (RF), Pulsed Power, High Voltage, Directed Energy, Antenna Design.

Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Matlab.

Proficiency in circuit modelling (e.g. Spice) and electromagnetic modelling (e.g. CST or Comsol).

Experience or understanding of low observability and stealth design.

Systems design or engineering experience across RF, optical, or power systems.

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments typical of early-stage concept development.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Willingness to undergo and/or currently hold DV security clearance.

Must be a sole British Citizen due to the nature of the work.
