About the Role:
Are you a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Science Technician looking for flexible work opportunities? Tradewind are seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals to support science departments in schools across Rotherham and the surrounding areas. This role offers the chance to work in a variety of educational settings, assisting in the preparation and maintenance of practical science lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science experiments.
2. Assist teachers and students during practical science lessons.
3. Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and stored correctly.
4. Follow health and safety regulations in handling chemicals and lab equipment.
5. Support in managing stock and ordering necessary supplies.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Science Technician or relevant lab experience.
2. Strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, or physics practical work.
3. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a lab environment.
4. Flexibility and ability to adapt to different school environments.
5. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
