An exceptional school is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their dedicated science faculty. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing laboratory support for IGCSE, IB, and A level science subjects. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be part of a highly successful faculty and join a happy and collaborative team in an exceptional school environment. This is a term-time position plus some additional days worked during the school holidays. Working hours will be 38.25 hours per week.
The Science faculty consists of 21 laboratories with most of them dedicated to a specific subject. The technical team consists of six technicians and a team leader. The position involves working alongside the existing technicians providing laboratory support for the teaching of IGCSE, Internationale Baccalaureate (IB) and A level science subjects.
Teamwork is an essential part of the role and while the successful candidate will likely be based in one department, over time they will be expected to move to others to gain further skills and help provide a flexible service. Please note that full training will be provided.
