Job summary

Colton Hills Community School in Wolverhampton seeks an enthusiastic and hardworking Science Technician to support and enhance the learning of students within our Science Department.

This post is 37 hours per week, Term Time Only, with NJC Support Staff Grade 4–LPP 7-11 (£26,403 - £28,142) pro rata; Actual Starting Salary £22,710. A pension, flexible working, maternity leave and other staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting science teaching or laboratories is desirable.
• DBS check will be required.
• Excellent organization and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance learning in the Science Department.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory resources and equipment.
• Assist during science lessons and ensure safety in the lab.
