Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust is seeking a proactive Science Technician for Yate Academy to support teachers by preparing equipment, keeping laboratories safe, and managing resources. You will ensure practical lessons run smoothly and safely with timely preparation and maintenance of equipment.

You will coordinate resources across biology, chemistry and physics, liaise with suppliers, and provide guidance on equipment usage.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating resources across biology, chemistry and physics.
• Ability to source, cost and negotiate with suppliers and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day organisation of resources across science disciplines.
• Prepare equipment and materials for experiments.
• Maintain laboratory stock records and equipment servicing.
