The role - Science Technician

The Science Technician will support teaching and learning in the Faculty by preparing resources for KS3 to KS5 lessons and conducting practical demonstrations. The successful candidate will have:

  • An academic qualification, at least to A Level or equivalent, in biology, chemistry, or physics
  • Good organisational skills, patience, flexibility, creativity
  • An ability to build positive relationships with young people
  • The ability to provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum
  • Practical experience within a school environment would be advantageous
