Job summary

Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet is seeking a Science Technician to join our high-performing science department, offering hands-on learning and opportunities for growth.

The role is term-time with 18.5 hours across three days; Tuesdays and Thursdays are fixed, with flexibility on the third day. You will play a hands-on role in bringing science lessons to life and supporting practical education.

Qualifications

• A-Level in Science (or equivalent) is required or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to safety.
• Proactive, team-first attitude and passion for supporting practical education.

Responsibilities

• Preparing chemical solutions, setting up apparatus, and getting experiments ready for action.
• Delivering, collecting, and managing equipment for practical lessons.
• Maintaining high safety standards by managing stores, equipment care, and resource coordination.
• Collaborating with teachers to support curriculum practicals.
