Fixed Term Contract – Start September / October 2025
Prior Park College, overlooking beautiful Bath has a temporary opportunity to join our thriving academic department as a Science Technician, Chemistry. Required to provide technical and administrative support, practical assistance and advice where required to staff in the Science Faculty and pupils of the schools. The role is 35 hours per week Monday to Friday but a degree of flexibility in the working pattern (0.6-0.9 part time) can be a consideration around school core hours. Will be covering for sickness for approximately six months.
The Science Faculty is made up of a dedicated team of some 18 teachers and technicians across five departments: Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Human Sciences, each led by a Head of Department.
The department is extremely well resourced, accommodated across three laboratories and supported by its own prep room and technician, and always aims to teach the subject in the most practical ways possible, giving students the richest possible experience of the subject.
Pay - £15.28per hour (FTE £29,872.60)
