We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Science Technician to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA)
This is a Grade 3, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £20,990 and the full time equivalent is £24,404 per annum.
We’re looking for:
A Science Technician qualified to NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in the relevant discipline. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of the Science or aptitude for learning the relevant aspects of those subjects.
Main purpose of the job:
Under the direction of senior staff, to provide technical support in a specific curriculum or resource area, including preparation and maintenance of resources and to provide general support to staff and pupil.
You will work collaboratively with all stakeholders in order to support students to become creative, happy & successful to make a key contribution to the development and support of the school through the provision of technical support in Science.
