Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust seeks a passionate Science Technician to join their team. This role provides support to the Science Department across two academies, focusing on enhancing students' educational experiences in a collaborative, innovative environment. Candidates should have experience in science support roles and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is an established Multi-Academy Trust of primary and secondary academies across the West Midlands.
Shireland CBSO Academy is an 11-18 Academy which opened in September 2023. It is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra. Based in Providence Place, West Bromwich, the Academy will work in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serve all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The Academy is for all students who have a passion or talent for music – they do not necessarily need to already play an instrument.

To provide technical support to the Academy’s Science Department. In the first year, this will be at both Shireland CBSO Academy and Shireland Biomedical UTC. These two academies are a short walking distance apart. In year 2 this role will be full-time at Shireland CBSO Academy.
