Job Overview

Required from September/October 2025

Grade C £24,027 to £25,183 (actual salary £17,260 - £18,091) plus LGPS Pension

Permanent

30 hours, 39 weeks p.a.

(Monday – Friday 9am- 3.30pm, term time plus 1 week)

About Plymouth CAST Multi-Academy Trust

We are seeking to appoint a Science Technician for our two secondary schools, Notre Dame Plymouth and St Boniface’s College. The successful candidate will support the Head of Science and Senior Science Technician in delivering well-planned practical lessons and overseeing health and safety in the department. You will be part of a small team of technicians committed to providing a high-quality educational environment for over 1000 students.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant experience and/or qualifications in delivering the requirements under CLEAPS guidance are preferable, but full training will be provided upon appointment.

Additional Requirements

The role involves working across two secondary schools located a few miles apart. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are preferable.
