Job description

Are you a Science Technician with a passion for supporting practical learning in secondary schools?

We are seeking a dedicated and organised technician to assist in science labs, ensuring practical experiments are safely and efficiently carried out.

About the Role:
  1. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment for practical Science lessons.
  2. Support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teachers in delivering hands-on learning experiences.
  3. Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed, including chemical handling and risk assessments.
  4. Maintain an organised lab environment, keeping stock of necessary resources.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Holds relevant Science qualifications (degree, A Levels, or technician training).
  2. Has experience working in a lab-based or school environment (preferred but not essential).
  3. Possesses strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Is enthusiastic about STEM education and enjoys working with young people.
