Job Description - Science Technician

As a Science Technician, you\'ll be the backbone of the lab, supporting teachers and students in bringing experiments to life. Your days will involve:

• Setting up and clearing away equipment for practical science lessons
• Preparing chemical solutions and ensuring all materials are safely stored
• Maintaining laboratory cleanliness and safety protocols
• Assisting students and staff during experiments (and occasionally rescuing a rogue test tube!)
• Managing stock levels and keeping the science cupboard in order

You\'ll be a key part of the school\'s science department, helping to ignite curiosity and spark a love for learning.

What We\'re Looking For

• Previous experience in a school lab or similar technical/scientific role is highly desirable
• A passion for science and a great sense of organisation (and humour!)
• The ability to follow health & safety protocols (no mad science allowed, sorry!)
• Strong communication skills - you\'ll be working with staff and students daily
• A proactive and flexible attitude - no two school days are the same!

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS - if you don\'t already have one, don\'t panic! We can help you apply
