Are you passionate about science and eager to support the next generation of scientists? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated Science Technicians to join a vibrant team of secondary schools in the Newham area.

About the Role:
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of practical science lessons. You'll be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that health and safety standards are met in the lab environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a scientific background looking to work in a dynamic and rewarding school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and clean away apparatus for practical science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)

Maintain an inventory of equipment and materials

Support teachers and students during experiments

Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed in the labs

Organise and safely store chemicals and laboratory equipment

Requirements:

A background in science (A-level or degree level preferred)

Previous experience in a school or laboratory setting is desirable

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A proactive and reliable attitude

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind)
