The Role:

As a Science Technician, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Supporting teaching staff with practical demonstrations and experiments

Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Managing stock levels and ordering new materials when required

Assisting in the safe disposal of waste materials

Helping to maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience in a Science Technician role (preferred), or a strong background in science (. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field)

Possess good organisational skills and attention to detail

Be knowledgeable about laboratory safety and procedures

Be a proactive team player with a flexible, can-do attitude

Demonstrate a genuine interest in science education and supporting young learners
