Job Title: Secondary School Chemistry Technician

Location: Westminster

Contract: Full Time, Long Term (Monday - Friday)

Hours: 8.30am - 4.00pm

An outstanding secondary school in Westminster is seeking a Chemistry Science Technician to support its well-equipped Science department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Science Technician or a Science graduate looking for a long-term role in a school laboratory.

Duties of the Chemistry Science Technician:

• Preparing chemical solutions, apparatus and resources for practical lessons.
• Providing in-class support during Chemistry experiments.
• Carrying out stock checks, ordering and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Ensuring safe storage and handling of chemicals in line with COSHH.
• Assisting teachers to deliver engaging and safe Science lessons.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Previous school Science Technician experience or laboratory background.
• Knowledge of Chemistry practicals and health & safety procedures.
• Organised, proactive and able to work within a team.
• Suitable for graduates in Science, Chemistry or related subjects.
