Job description

Job Title: Science, Art, and Engineering Technician

Protocol Education is working with a local Bristol school to employ a part-time technician for two days a week. This role supports the Art, Science, and Engineering departments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work under the direction of the Head of Science to provide high-quality science teaching support.
  2. Assist teachers with setting up practical lessons in Science and Art.
  3. Maintain and modify equipment and apparatus.
  4. Set up experiments and participate in laboratory demonstrations.
  5. Ensure safe and efficient use of machinery and equipment by students and staff.
  6. Order resources and support practical classes with technical assistance.
  7. Adhere to health and safety standards.
  8. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  9. Foster enjoyment and success among students and provide support to staff.
