Science Technician – Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent), Starting January 2026

Are you passionate about science and eager to support the next generation of learners? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school from January 2026 on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

In this vital role, you’ll work closely with our science team to prepare, maintain, and organise practical resources and equipment for engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4. You’ll ensure that experiments run smoothly, laboratories are safe and well-stocked, and students have every opportunity to explore science hands-on.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong interest or background in science (experience in a school or laboratory setting is desirable)
  • Be organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team
