A high-performing secondary school in Northampton is seeking two passionate and committed Science Teachers to join their strong and forward-thinking Science department from September 2025. These permanent positions offer an exciting opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS4 in a well-resourced and supportive environment.
About the role:
You will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective Science lessons, supporting students of all abilities to develop a deep understanding of the subject and achieve their full potential. Key responsibilities include:
Teaching general Science across KS3 and your specialism at KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Contributing to curriculum planning, assessment and enrichment opportunities within the department.
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and high achievement.
Collaborating with a dedicated team to drive standards and share best practice.
About you:
This school is looking for excellent classroom practitioners who are committed to continuous improvement and student success. You will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A degree in a Science-related discipline.
Experience teaching Science across secondary key stages.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students through dynamic teaching.
A commitment to professional development and the wider school community.
