The Role - Science Teacher - Secondary School - Lambeth - September 2025

The Science Teacher will be responsible for providing a friendly, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every student can develop academically, socially, and personally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for academic progress and must:

• Ensure that students are taught in line with the most up-to-date examination specifications
• Adhere to the department's schemes of work
• Keep records of students' attendance via SIMS, follow guidelines for high-quality teaching as defined in the Staff Handbook, including setting, marking, and assessing work
• Utilize resources effectively, check student files, support learning, use ICT, and follow health and safety procedures
• Manage the classroom according to the school's behavior policy
• Attend in-service training, classroom observations, and feedback sessions as requested by the Head of Department
