About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Science Teacher to join a well-established and highly regarded school in Derby. The Science Teacherwill be responsible for teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that engage students and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles. The successful Science Teacherwill be expected to use a wide range of teaching methods to bring the subject to life, including hands-on practical experiments, interactive activities, and real-world applications of scientific concepts.

The role also includes the opportunity to contribute to the development and review of the science curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements and meets the needs of all students. The Science Teacher will be expected to track student progress, provide regular feedback, and differentiate lessons to ensure that all students are challenged and supported. Additionally, the Science Teacherwill have the chance to participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and outreach programs, to further enhance students’ scientific curiosity.
