Science Teacher (full time, part time, long and short term contracts) opportunity – Secondary School – Trowbridge

Are you a qualified Science Teacher or Science Specialist looking for work within secondary schools in Trowbridge?

Academics Ltd are working with an outstanding school in Trowbridge who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join them from after Easter. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management. This is also a great opportunity for ECT’s looking for their first teaching role.

The school are looking for a Science Teacher who:

1. Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
2. Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to students of all abilities.
3. Is interested in the science of learning and is committed to continuous improvement.
4. Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life.

Science Teacher Requirements:

1. Degree in Science or a related field.
2. Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS.
3. Experience with online teaching platforms.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
