Science Teacher

The JCB Academy

Not a qualified teacher? No problem. You’ll need a degree to back up your subject area expertise, but what’s most important is being able to inspire learners with your passion for science. We’ll train you on the rest. Empathic, supportive and an outstanding communicator, you’ll be able to break down complex ideas into digestible chunks that make your lessons a highlight of the timetable for learners.

The JCB Academy specialises in engineering and business, teaching learners from Y9 to SixthForm and providing Intermediate and Advanced apprenticeship programmes as well as Business and Engineering T-Levels. Our approach pairs classroom learning with practical application and we have an impressive range of world-class industry partners who help with that. JCB, of course, but also Harper Adams University, Rolls-Royce and Toyota Motor Manufacturing to name just a few.
