Science Teacher - SEN/SEMH Specialist School

Are you a qualified teacher, or do you have experience teaching/supporting young people with SEN/SEMH? An Outstanding specialist school for pupils with SEN & SEMH needs are searching for an Science Teacher to join them ASAP, or January at the latest.

As an Science Teacher you will be teaching GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent to pupils in KS3 & KS4, with small class sizes of 6 maximum. Most students have ASD, and all of the students have ADHD or trauma/anxiety which can create challenging behaviour. However, all students benefit from:

  • A quiet, calm and purposeful learning environment
  • Tailored, short, low-pressure lessons which pupils enjoy.
  • Therapeutic aspect, which all staff receive weekly training on
  • State of the art facilities, on beautiful grounds surrounded by greenery
JOB SPEC - Science Teacher
