Overview

Science Teacher - SEN/SEMH Specialist School

Are you a qualified teacher, or do you have experience teaching/supporting young people with SEN/SEMH?

An Outstanding specialist school for pupils with SEN & SEMH needs are searching for a Science Teacher to join them ASAP, or January at the latest.

As a Science Teacher you will be teaching GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent to pupils in KS3 & KS4, with small class sizes of 6 maximum. Most students have ASD, and all of the students have ADHD or trauma/anxiety which can create challenging behaviour. However, all students benefit from:

• A quiet, calm and purposeful learning environment
• Tailored, short, low-pressure lessons which pupils enjoy.
• Therapeutic aspect, which all staff receive weekly training on
• State of the art facilities, on beautiful grounds surrounded by greenery
