This is a brand new school for 150 students from age 5 – 19 years old. This is an SEN school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The school has a large sports hall with changing facilities, individual spaces used for therapeutic intervention and bespoke support, and extensive outdoor space including a large courtyard. There are individual playgrounds for both primary and secondary. The school is easily accessible by public transport and is located on the central line. The school has been graded as “Good” by Ofsted in 2023, with outstanding features in behaviour and leadership. The school has been open for 3 years and is thriving since September 2022. All pupils in attendance have an EHCP.
This school is looking for an experienced Science Teacher to join their successful department. The school is open to any specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, but the ability to teach all sciences is beneficial. You should have at least 1 year of experience teaching Science in UK schools, following the British curriculum. The school will consider an ECT showing excellent progress during teacher training. A degree in Science is preferable, as well as teaching qualifications in the subject. This school rewards staff with a competitive salary and benefits package.
