The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to teach in a progressive environment that values innovation, creativity, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Science lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Plan and teach engaging, dynamic lessons that inspire a love for science
  • Support students in developing literacy, analytical, and communication skills
  • Provide effective, constructive feedback to aid student progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development and share new ideas and strategies
  • Encourage participation in enrichment activities like science clubs and competitions
  • Be an active member of the school community, promoting its positive values

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science literature and language
  • A creative and learner-centered teaching approach
  • Confident classroom management and a proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
