Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting qualified Science Teachers to work in multiple successful secondary schools across Telford. If you hold QTS and can teach KS3 and KS4, you will be supported by an experienced education consultant and can choose from long-term, short-term, or day-to-day roles.

We welcome teachers with Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialisms, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire curiosity and maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding in a busy classroom

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics is advantageous.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science.
• Ability to engage, motivate and inspire students; excellent classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding procedures.
• Support students in achieving academic goals.

The successful Science Teacher will have:
