Science Teacher (Physics Specialist) | Islington | ASAP Start, London

An Independent school in Islington is seeking a skilled Science Teacher with a Physics specialism, starting ASAP for a temporary, part-time position. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  2. Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
  3. Develop students' understanding and practical skills in Physics.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  5. Contribute to the development of science resources.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Science, focusing on Physics.
  2. Proven experience teaching science at secondary level.
  3. Strong knowledge of Physics and a passion for the subject.
  4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to engage and motivate students.

  8. Availability for a two-week October half term and a long weekend in November (pro-rata).
