Job Description:

An enthusiastic Science Teacher with a specialism and passion for Physics is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the fundamental principles of physics and their applications in the world around us.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Physics to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, with a strong emphasis on physical concepts.
  • Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for scientific exploration and experimentation in physics.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Physics), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Science with a focus on Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical principles and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex physical ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
  • Outer London Payscale.
