Science Teacher for a secondary school in NG20
Position: Full time, starting after Easter break till the end of the year. It might turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Hours: 8.30-16.00 term time only.
Start date: After Easter break.
Pay: 135-200£ a day (depending on qualifications and experience).

What we expect from you:

  1. Science Instruction:
    Deliver dynamic and engaging science lessons to secondary school students.
    Encourage students to explore and understand scientific concepts, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
  2. Curriculum Development:
    Develop comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials in line with the curriculum.
    Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  3. Student Engagement:
    Create an enriching and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students are motivated to participate actively in their scientific journey.
    Support students in developing strong scientific skills and knowledge.
  4. Assessment and Progress Tracking:
    Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
    Collaborate with colleagues to analyse data and implement strategies for improvement.
  5. Professional Collaboration:
    Work closely with the Science Department to enhance the overall quality of science education.
    Share best practices and innovative teaching techniques with colleagues.

Qualifications:
