Job Title: Science Teacher needed - May 2025 Start

GSL Education are working with a good school in the South of Manchester who are currently looking for a Teacher of Science to start in May or sooner if possible. This is a long-term role through to the end of the academic year with a view to going permanent from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator who is passionate about imparting knowledge and fostering a love for learning in students. This is ideal for a teacher, confident teaching to KS3 & KS4 in a respectful environment where pupils' behaviour is exemplary.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  2. Develop and implement curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and academic standards.
Requirements:
  1. A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  2. Experience in teaching Science subjects at secondary level.
  3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
  4. Commitment to continuous professional development.
