Science Teacher (MAT Cover) / KS3/4 / Secondary School/ Kingston

Have you ever wanted to be a KS3/4 Science Teacher and the opportunity to teach some fantastic students, while being close to home in Kingston, at a highly successful school rated as ‘Outstanding‘? This is a maternity Science Teacher role that is full-time and starts in January 2025 and will last until August 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • To plan and prepare Science lessons for pupils at KS3 and KS4
  • Complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work and track progress
  • Take involvement with faculty and the department
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS is needed
  • NQTs/ECTs will also be accepted
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Clean and current enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Up to date Safeguarding training
  • Passion for teaching and having a real impact on a student’s education
  • Being part of an excellent Secondary School
