We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher or Primary Teacher with experience in low level Science to support students with Moderate Learning Difficulties at a thriving specialist school in Southend.

Experience in a specialist school or provision is ideal, but we also encourage applications from educators with a genuine desire to work within the special needs sector, those who can build relationships with pupils, and who have a passion for teaching.

This forward-thinking and inclusive school places children and young people at the center of everything. The staff team is highly skilled, especially in autism, and is supported by clinical and therapeutic disciplines to ensure a holistic approach to developmental, social, communicative, sensory, and academic outcomes.

The school offers an integrated model of education, care, and therapy, designed to challenge students effectively while ensuring they feel safe and supported. Facilities are tailored for autism, with plans to expand further. The school aims to develop students' independence, safety awareness, self-reliance, and social skills to thrive in society.

Pay rates are inclusive of holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanent placement later.
