City Heights E-ACT Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and inspiring students to develop a lifelong love of learning.

The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that enable all students to achieve their full potential.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in relevant subject.
• Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching & learning.
• Commitment to the academy's values and ethos.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge, and engage students of all abilities, ensuring they make strong academic progress.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students, creating a safe and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to succeed.
• Set high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement, helping students develop resilience, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, using data effectively to identify barriers to learning and provide targeted support where needed.
• Contribute to the wider life of the academy, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to raise aspirations and ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.
• Role not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
