Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking to make a difference in the classroom? Our well-regarded secondary school in the Wirral is seeking a skilled Science Teacher to join our team from September 2025. This role involves teaching all three sciences-Biology, Chemistry, and Physics-across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the initial contract running until December 2025 and the possibility of extending through the academic year. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment where all students can succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure an integrated approach to teaching and learning.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or STEM initiatives (if applicable).

About You:

  • A qualified Science Teacher with experience teaching all three sciences at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
