Science Teacher - Salford - September Start
Salford Monday to Thursday, 11:30am to 4:00pm .71 per day
Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a fresh opportunity from September? Do you have the drive to inspire KS3 and KS4 students to explore and enjoy science?
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a small, single-sex independent faith secondary school in Salford. This part-time role is four days per week, starting in September 2025, with small class sizes and a supportive teaching environment.
The Role:
Position: Science Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Part-time (4 days per week), Temp-to-Perm
Location: Salford
Pay: 162.31 to 251.71 per day (depending on experience)
Youll be teaching general science across a range of ability levels in small groups. The school encourages curiosity and hands-on learning. Youll be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, mark work, and provide constructive feedback.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
A degree (ideally in a Science subject)
Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school (references required)
Up-to-date safeguarding & Prevent training (or willingness to complete free training with us)
Passionate about science and committed to student progress
