Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
Location: Leicester
Salary: MPS/UPS (Pay to scale based on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/As soon as possible
School Rating: Outstanding (Ofsted)

About the Role: GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join an exceptional secondary school in Leicester. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in a school rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher, committed to delivering high-quality science education across KS3 and KS4, with a proven ability to motivate students and raise attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that cater to a wide range of abilities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster academic growth.
  • Support the school s ethos of excellence and contribute to its vibrant learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary school level, preferably across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • DBS on the update service.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to students academic success.
