Job summary

Science Teacher

Pay: 150- 220+ (depending on exp)

Full-time/ Term Time only

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Science and Maths SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in supporting our learners to achieve their full potential through creative, differentiated, and personalised teaching.

Science Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Science and Maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
  • Create a positive and structured learning environment that supports student progress and emotional well-being.
  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with individual learning plans (EHCPs).
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, therapists, teaching assistants and other staff to provide holistic support.
  • Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning in all students

Science Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science and/or Maths at KS3-KS5 level.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH, or MLD.
  • A compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Driver is preferred
