We are currently working with a school based near Dorset and they are looking for a Science Teacher to join their team full-time on an ongoing temproary basis.

Science Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)

Location: Dorset (South Coast)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Start Date: ASAP

An ambitious and student-centred secondary school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its collaborative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching that inspires curiosity and develops confidence across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical Science lessons aligned with national curriculum objectives

  • Differentiate effectively to support a range of learners, including those with SEND

  • Contribute to a culture of high expectations, both academically and personally

  • Work proactively within a small, supportive staff team to promote student wellbeing and achievement

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS and experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching and learning

  • Passion for developing scientific literacy and critical thinking
