Job Description

An Independent Mixed school in Harrow is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a permanent, full-time role commencing in September. The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and capable of teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring a solid understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Create a stimulating, inquiry-based learning environment encouraging practical exploration of science.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a Science specialism.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4), covering all three disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills, making science accessible and engaging.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
