Job description

Science Teacher for SEND School in Sandwell.

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge for September?

Are you a dedicated and supportive Science teacher ready to help pupils grow and learn in a caring environment?

A qualified Science Teacher is required for long term supply cover in a SEND School in the Sandwell area.

The role will be delivering a rich and effective education and requires a teacher who is creative and caring in their approach.
The school is for children with autism and complex needs aged 11 - 16. The ability to engage students who are working at different levels is a must, developing the curriculum to suit their needs whilst challenging and encouraging development.

This will be long term role, securing you work in September. You will be required to work Monday Friday.

The right Teacher for this role will be confident in planning lessons as well as marking and assessing children s development.

The school plays a large role within the community often involved in fund raising. The school is well supported by parents and friends in order to create wider learning opportunities.

The ideal Teacher will have:

  • UK QTS, specialising in Science
  • The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons
  • Caring approach to teaching
  • The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils

In return the successful Teacher will receive:
