Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons that cater to students with varying abilities and learning styles
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Design and conduct experiments and practical activities to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and opportunities for cross-curricular learning
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging and respect
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support students' holistic development

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialization in Science or a related field
• Prior experience teaching Science in a secondary school
• Demonstrated passion for Science education and inspiring students' interest in the subject
• Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and innovative teaching methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Effective classroom management abilities
