Job description

Are you an outstanding Science Teacher looking for a new challenge?

I have been working with this school for over 5 years and have an excellent relationship with them. I have placed many teachers into the school and they all have very positive things to say about their time there.

The school really looks after their staff, both permanent and temporary.

A teacher who has worked at the school on many occasions has said, "The school really looks after their supply staff. They always have lesson plans to follow and staff are always on hand to support you."

The school has a fantastic reputation in Coventry.

I am looking for a Science Teacher who wants a new challenge and to be part of a strong department. The position is full-time, teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils, with KS5 teaching being beneficial. Initially, this role is for one term, but it could lead to more work in the future. The school often asks good teachers to return, providing a pathway to more regular work.

As a full-time Science teacher, you are expected to be a permanent member of staff, with responsibilities including:

  • Teaching Science to KS3 & KS4; knowledge of A-Level would be advantageous.
  • Assessing, marking, and planning lessons.
  • Assessing pupils' achievements.
  • Providing progress reports and attending parent evenings and department meetings.

This is an excellent opportunity to work at one of the best schools in the area and secure a full-time post after half-term. I offer competitive rates of pay and am available 24/7 to assist you with any needs.

Please send your CV and let me know a suitable time for a call.

Applications are welcome from NQTs and overseas-trained teachers with QTS.
