Science Teacher – Kingston Secondary School

An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters scientific inquiry.
  • Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department.
  • To teach at an Outstanding School.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • The desire to work as a Science Teacher.
