In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons to students, using a combination of practical experiments, technology, and traditional teaching methods. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students, ensuring alignment with the school curriculum
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and resources
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education, or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
• Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and current teaching methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and improving teaching practice
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school's wider curriculum
