Une école secondaire située à Birmingham, notée 'Outstanding' par Ofsted, recherche un enseignant passionné en sciences pour rejoindre leur équipe. Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: South Birmingham

Salary: 120 - 230 per day. Dependent on experience.

Contract Type: 2 days a week, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Start Date: September 2025


About them: We are working on behalf of a secondary school located in South Birmingham, the school has been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The school are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for Science.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Degree in Science is desired
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
